CONCACAF announced the venue list for the 2013 Gold Cup Wednesday, unveiling that the 12-team tournament will be held at 13 different venues around the United States, including Seattle, Portland and Salt Lake City.
This year's tournament, to be held July 7-28, will feature an unprecedented amount of competition being held in the northwest region as Seattle's CenturyLink Field had been the only previous venue utilized (2005, 2009). This time fans in region will have plenty of opportunities to catch the confederation's championship competition with Portland added to the list and Salt Lake City giving fans in Southern Idaho a nearby option.
Though 11 of the 12 participating teams are already set to participate, no date was given for the event's draw or schedule for when each venue would be utilized; therefore there are obviously no ticket details at this time.
