Cheney got off to a rolling start, winning all four times they stepped on the field in the GNL and dominating the opposition 11-3 on aggregate. Noah Prophet helped lead the way with a pair of goals and two assists.
In the GSL, three teams opened the campaign with a pair of wins. Gonzaga Prep, Mead and Central Valley are 2-0 after the first week of play. After trouncing Rogers, the Bullpups surprised Ferris 2-0 with Drew Mosman tallying a pair of goals and three assists on the week.
Mead downed northside rival Mt Spokane 3-1 in the opener before blanking Rogers and Central Valley topped University 3-1 and fellow favorite Lewis & Clark 2-0.
North Central's Drew Williams was the big scorer on the week, tallying all four of the school's, including both in a 3-2 penalty-shootout victory over University to close out the week.
In the lone Northeast A League game, Newport downed Colville 3-1 to open the campaign. Kyler Zorica scored a pair of goals.

Drew Williams (North Central) :: Scored all four goals as the Indians went 1-1, falling 7-2 to Ferris and upending University 3-2 in a PK shootout.
Adam Thompson (Lewis & Clark) :: Notched three goals and an assist for the Tigers, guiding them to a 5-0 win against Shadle.
Drew Mosman (Gonzaga Prep) :: Tallied two goals and three assists in a 5-0 win over Rogers and a 2-0 win against Ferris.
Chris Lucas (West Valley) :: The team was only 1-2 on the week, but he notched four helpers in a 4-0 win at Clarkson in between a 2-0 loss to Pullman and 2-1 defeat to unbeaten Cheney 2-1.
Kalil Taylor (Gonzaga Prep) :: Posted a pair of shutout for the Bullpups against Rogers and Ferris.
