Ching coming back: “I still feel like I can contribute”
A lot of fans of former Spokane Shadow PDL and Gonzaga standout Brian Ching may have gotten one of their wishes for 2013 granted today as the Hawaiian decided he will play at least one more season in Major League Soccer for the Houston Dynamo.
Boise State to stay in Mountain West after all
Though it had previously committed to moving the Broncos into the Big East for football in 2013 and the Big West for all other sports, including the women’s soccer program, Boise State University announced today via news releases that the program has reversed course and will remain a member of the Mountain West Conference for all sports.

For the Road: NBC News report on major security concern at hotels

Shine’s Robertson headed to UEFA Champions League
Spokane Shine midfielder Lisa Robertson was announced as a
new signing for Glasgow City of the Scottish women’s premier league Sunday,
marking the end of a lengthy career with Hibernian for the former Scottish
youth international, who spent the 2012 summer with the American WPSL club.
