Post Falls product Kelcie Hedge helps lead U17 WNT to tourney title
Post Falls' Kelcie Hedge helped guide the US U17 Women's National Team to the championship at the Women's NTC Invitational in the past week. The Post Falls Thunder and Spokane Shadow product scored twice in the squad's opening win of the three-game event as they went on to sweep for the title at the Glenn Myernick Field in Carson, California.

Mixing it Up: Eastern Washington players aid Idaho ODP run
In January, USYS Region IV held the Regional ODP Championships in Phoenix, and while Cal South swept the event by winning all 10 brackets, Washington and Idaho represented the Northwest quite well with four Washington sides reaching the final and an Idaho squad featuring a large contingent of players from Eastern Washington advancing to the 1997G final.

Region’s youth players making 2014 college declarations for NLI Day

One announcement that was of particular interest was the decision by CC Spokane standout Tasha Luu, a native of Colville, WA. The NWAACC East Division Women's MVP for 2013 chose to continue her athletic career and academic pursuits at Eastern Washington University, which recently announced as their new head coach Chad Bodnar, who was the head coach of NWAACC heated rival Walla Walla CC.
