For the first time since 1995 the Gonzaga Men took to the pitch at home Monday evening with a new head coach as Paul Meehan, a five-year assistant under Einar Thorarinsson, helped guide the Bulldogs to a scoreless draw against Cal Poly.
The result was a second consecutive draw for the side after playing regular Missouri Valley Conference semifinalist Bradley to a 2-2 draw on the road Friday.
Gonzaga goalkeeper Ben Willis made eight saves in the contest for the shutout in a match that saw a handful of chances for both sides.
