In a tight contest that saw only six of the 15 shots go on frame, the deciding goal came in the 70th minute when Rilee Castilla (Kennewick, WA) set up Regan Russell. Abbie Faingold made three stops for the shutout.

Aubree Chatterton (Boise, ID) set up the first in the 52nd minute and Jessie Vogel connected with her for the second in the 69th. Janelle Flores posted seven saves for the clean sheet, claiming sole possession of the program's career shutout record. The result extended their unbeaten run to eight games, the longest in program history, and was their first tournament win since 2013

Camyrn Wendlandt (Coeur d'Alene, ID) started for Baylor in the Big 12 Tournament and helped lead the Bears to a 2-1 overtime upset win over the 14th-ranked Texas Longhorns, who they fell 1-0 in overtime to on the road during the season.
