INWsn T4 Round-Up 5.21.18: Shadow Spoil Tri-Cities Home Debut; Yakima Downs NCW


The Evergreen Premier League debut in the Tri-Cities will go down as a thriller, but the back-and-forth affair saw visiting Spokane Shadow U23 strike for the final goal in a 4-3 win that avenged the season-opening loss in Spokane. Meanwhile, central Washington rivals Yakima United and NCW Alliance squared off in a thriller that saw the Hoppers prevail 3-2 in Wenatchee.

HS Update 5.13.18: Walla Walla, Kamiakin Advance to State


The Mid-Columbia Conference secured two more berths to the state tournament with Walla Walla claiming the third spot at the 4A classification and Kamiakin earning the second in 3A, giving the MCC four of the five from the two flights. Both teams won handily on the road to earn the berths. In the lower tiers, Clarkston earned its first trip to state and East Valley joined them as the GNL saw three total move on.

INWsn T4 Round-Up 5.13.18: Tri-Cities Edges Yakima United


The visiting Tri-Cities Alliance made it two for two in road games against their other EPLWA Columbia Division opponents to open their debut season. After rallying for a 3-2 in Spokane last week, Alliance grabbed a 1-0 victory in Yakima Saturday. Spokane, meanwhile, rebounded with a 4-0 win against Bellingham.

HS Update 5.11.18: Pasco Wins 4A Regional Title


A dominant season in the Mid-Columbia Conference saw the Bulldogs lead nearly from the start in league play, but Thursday evening Pasco needed to rally to claim the 4A regional title with a late equalizer and shootout tiebreaker decision against Greater Spokane League champion Lewis & Clark.

HS Update 5.09.18: Kennewick Claims 3A Regional Title


The dominant Kennewick Lions proved why they were among the league leaders in all of the MCC, rolling to a 3-0 win Tuesday night in the 3A regional final against GSL's top 3A seed North Central. Meanwhile, Gonzaga Prep and Ferris were knocked out in the 4A tourney, leaving Lewis & Clark as the lone GSL side remaining. Elsewhere, Pullman won late to clinch a state berth.

HS Update 5.08.18: North Central Survives Shootout as Top Seeds Move On


The four one-seeds all advanced to their respective 3A and 4A regional championship games this weekend. On a busy Saturday it was relatively easy work for 4A sides Pasco and Lewis & Clark while North Central needed a shootout after a scoreless draw against Kamiakin to move on. Kennewick had already booked their spot on Friday with a romp against Mt Spokane.

INWsn T4 Round-Up 5.6.18: Tri-Cities Wins EPLWA Debut Match



The visiting Tri-Cities Alliance found a game-winner in stoppage time Saturday night in its first-ever Evergreen Premier League game, winning 3-2 in Spokane.

HS Update 5.03.18: Walla Walla Lone Underdog to Win Wednesday


It was nearly a clean sweep for the higher seeded home teams in a busy day of GSL versus MCC action with Walla Walla posting the lone upset with a 4-3 victory against GSL runner-up Ferris.

The results left Lewis & Clark as the lone GSL team remaining in the winners portion of the bracket vying for the 4A regional title. In the 3A bracket the league runners-up both advanced to square off against the opposing leagues' top 3A sides for a spot in the regional final.
