Kayla Lipston made eight saves in the match for Central Washington as they were outshot 14-4, but the Falcons pulled even in the 73rd from the penalty spot and then found a bit of fortune with just under two minutes left when a cross was knocked in for an own goal by Jessica Haga. The Crusaders romped to a big win in the finale on the four-goal effort from Fredy Razo. Two came via penalties, including the opener in the 12th and his final goal in the 69th, but he doubled the lead in the 20th off the rebound of a Juan Perez shot. The Yellowjackets cut the lead back to one in the 29th when Cameron Lee and Kyle Emerick (Billings, MT) combined to find Thorge Jess. The one-goal margin would remain until Alfredo Zendejas fed Razo for his third of the day on the hour mark. Torres would wrap up the scoring on a 25-yard free kick in the 88th. MORE

The two sides seemed destined to finish in a stalemate, but in the 76th minute Molly Smith served a ball into the box where Jackie Day would put it away into the left side of the goal.
