The league seasons are fast approaching. Kicking off this week are the Cascade Collegiate Conference (NAIA) and Northwest Conference (DIII) on Friday and Saturday, respectively. Providence, Rocky Mountain, Carroll and Walla Walla will be at home while Eastern Oregon travels in CCC action. Whitworth and Whitman are both on the road as they open against the powerhouses Puget Sound and Pacific Lutheran over the weekend.

9.05 - Washington State 1-0 Gonzaga... The Zags created some chances against a dominant Cougar side and Isabel Jones made seven saves to keep the game scoreless. In overtime though, a turnover by the Bulldogs at midfield was taken by Averie Collins (Bozeman, MT), a grad student from Stanford, up the left side before she ripped the winner from distance just nine seconds in. 9.06 - Boise State 1-0 v Idaho State... The Bengals managed to keep Raimee Sherle off the board, but the Broncos did finally break through in the 64th minute via Raven Sweeney, who tallied in her third consecutive game. Sydney Smith (Caldwell, ID) recorded four saves in the shutout while Katie Hogarth was busy at the other end with eight stops.
9.12 - Carroll 0-0 MSU Billings... The two Montana foes battled to a scoreless draw with MSUB's Erinn Harder and Carroll's Sydney Green each making four saves for shutouts.
9.14 - Providence 0-4 Rocky Mountain... The Battlin Bears dominated the contest, allowing just one shot from the Argos as they rolled to the win. Mhari Smith tallied in the 12th and Alexis Robbins made it two in the 32nd. Lauryn Gamache scored twice in the second half with Kayla Mader (Billings, MT) and Tiara Duford (Polson, MT) recording the assists. Maia Wetzel (Helena, MT) did earn a save on the lone Argo shot.

Erika Skindlov (Coeur d'Alene, ID), Josee Bassett (Coeur d'Alene, ID) and Morgan Farrington (Meridian, ID) gave the Mountaineers a three-goal lead at the break and set up goals in the second half. Skindlov set up Farrington for her second in the 55th and Bassett found Abri Cardenas in the 73rd before Farrington registered an assist with Katie Arnold's tally. Cydni Cottrell (Pasco, WA) was not called upon to make a save in the shutout.
9.11 - Northwest 3-1 Lewis & Clark... Stephanie Wilson (Kalispell, MT) set up the third Eagles goal and Jezza Hutto (Sandpoint, ID) scored in the 85th to spoil the shutout.
9.11 - Corban 2-0 Warner Pacific... Katie Hiller (Pocatello, ID) set up the opener.
9.12 - Gonzaga 3-2 (OT) Kansas State... The game was scoreless until the 79th when Sophia Braun found India Jencks for the opener. KSU tied it up in the 85th with Madeline Gotta retaking the lead at the spot two minutes later. The hosts answered with just seconds left on the clock, but another Gotta penalty in the 97th decided the contest.
9.12 - Cal State East Bay 0-1 Central Washington... Olivia Sloan (Spokane, WA) scored the game-winner via Emily Russell (Kennewick, WA) four minutes into the second half. Megan Fox made five saves for the shutout.

9.13 - Michigan 2-1 Washington State... Trailing by two since the fourth minute, Morgan Weaver finally got the Cougs on the board in the 71st via Elaily Hernandez-Repreza despite outshooting UM 23-12.
9.13 - Arizona 0-4 Santa Clara... Kelsey Turnbow (Spokane, WA) scored the opener in the 41st and then set up Kelcie Hedge (Post Falls, ID) in the 48th. She scored a second in the 65th and Hedge went on to help set up the fourth.
9.13 - Jackson State 0-2 McNeese... Havana Johnson (Coeur d'Alene, ID) set up the second goal.
9.14 - Hawaii Hilo 4-2 Central Washington... Sydney Lowe scored the opening goal 20 minutes in, but the Hawaiian side rattled off four before Olivia Sloan (Spokane, WA) tallied the second.

9.14 - Cal State East Bay 2-6 Northwest Nazarene... Makayla Roggow opened the scoring eight minutes in with Rikki Myers adding the second via Maddy Parton (Leavenworth, WA) in the 22nd. Ashley Parton (Leavenworth, WA) then got on the board in the 38th before Myers netted a second in the 45th via Carolyn Moravec (Spokane, WA). After CSEB tallied in the second half Myers added two more with back-to-back goals in the 74th and 80th via Maddy Parton and Magda Wronski, who had her second helper of the day. Myers' fourth marked the first time in NNU and GNAC women's soccer history that a player tallied four goals, surpassing the 60 hat-tricks on the record book.
9.14 - Black Hills State 0-1 Carroll... Katie Martin (Clancy, MT) and Charly Clements combined in the 29th minute to set up Makayla Welch (Boise, ID) for what held as the winner. Sydney Green made three saves for the clean sheet.
