Lower Division Five Stars - Week Twenty-Three

ROUND TWENTY-THREE (September 3-8)

Player – Club (5 Star Selections)

Andre Akpan - New York Red Bulls Reserves (2)
Scored a goal in a 3-2 loss to FC Dallas early in the week but went on to score four on the road in a 7-2 win at Houston.

Etienne Barbara - Tampa Bay Rowdies
Trailing by one he set up a pair of goals to put the Rowdies in front against his old club en route to a 3-2 win.

Dennis Chin - Orlando City (3)
With the Lions up one, he scored what proved to be the game-winner and went on to cap the 7-4 championship victory with a second goal in stoppage time. He scored in all three playoff games, also posting the winner last week.

Dom Dwyer - Orlando City (6)
Scored four goals and added an assist in the USL Pro Championship for a 7-4 victory.

Christian Ramirez - Charlotte Eagles
Scored twice to keep the Eagles in the match and in the lead after his second only to see Orlando City pull away for the 7-2 championship win. He scored in all three playoff games.
