Trailing Atlanta, Denissen scored the initial equalizer in the 20th minute and then helped set up the go-ahead strike by Edin Husic eight minutes later as the winless Scorpions played to a 2-2 draw.
Dom Dwyer – Orlando City (2)
Well, you can’t leave a guy off the list who has a hat-trick… no matter how bad the opponent – Antigua in the second of two games in 24 hours. Dwyer netted the first, fourth and fifth goals in the 7-2 win. Though he was nearly left off the list, he becomes the first two-time selection this season.
Shaun Francis – Charlotte Eagles
Trailing by two goals, the defender found Drew Yates to cut the lead in half and in the 90th minute it appeared he scored the game-winner only to have that spoiled moments later in the 3-3 draw.
Andrew Marshall – Pittsburgh Riverhounds
The defender helped lead the club earn a hard-fought two points on the difficult trip out west, scoring the equalizer in a 1-1 draw at Phoenix Friday in the 79th minute and then helping post the shutout in the scoreless draw in Los Angeles Sunday.

Maicon Santos – Chicago Fire Reserves
The off and on again MLS star striker contributed on both goals in a 2-1 win against FC Dallas, netting the opener 20 minutes in and setting Corben Bone in first-half stoppage time for what proved to be the winner.
