Lower Division Five Stars - Round 7

A weekly list of the top five players or performances of each round in NASL, USL Pro and MLS Reserves in all competitions…

ROUND SEVEN (May 13-19)

Player – Club (5 Star Selections)

Simone Bracalello - Minnesota United
Let down by the defense, Bracalello did his part on the offensive end of the pitch with a goal and an assist in a 3-2 loss at home to Tampa Bay.

Dom Dwyer - Orlando City (4)
Fourth consecutive week on the list - Trailing in Harrisburg Dwyer struck for the equalizer and put the club ahead as they played to a 2-2 draw. The brace marked the fourth consecutive match with at least two goals and it was the final match in a five-game scoring streak as he failed to score coming off the bench the following night in a 1-0 win at Rochester.

Shaun Francis - Charlotte Eagles (2) 
The defender strikes again. He scored the game-winner in the 65th minute while leading the defense in a shutout against visiting Charleston to remain unbeaten.

Jason Johnson - Houston Dynamo Reserves 
Tallied a goal and an assist in the second half of a 2-0 victory over visiting Fire Reserves.

Tjeerd Westdjik - Dayton Dutch Lions
On Tuesday he scored the final goal in the 48th minute of their 3-0 US Open Cup First Round victory against the PDL River City Rovers. On Saturday with Dayton trailing by two on the road he set up the first goal and scored the second as they rallied for a 2-2 draw in Pittsburgh.
