On the women's side, MSUB split and the Central Washington Wildcats nabbed an overtime road victory against NNU Saturday, but the two sides had lost two days prior, leaving them mired at the middle of the table.
The Whitworth men, meanwhile, continue to dominate the Northwest Conference. They showed Saturday that their previous misstep in a draw at George Fox was an aberration, drubbing the Bruins 6-0 Saturday thanks, in part, to a hat-trick from Karl Muelheims. The hometown senior also went on to repeat the feat the following day against Pacific.
On the women's side of the conference, the struggles continued for Whitworth and Whitman. After the two sides played to a scoreless stalemate midweek, the Pirates remained on the road and dropped a game against George Fox before rebounding for a narrow win against Pacific to stay mid-table while Whitman continues to be mired in the basement with another scoreless draw and a loss.

Mary took the surprising lead just 23 seconds into the match, but Erik Anderson scored back-to-back goals to give the Crusaders the lead before the break. He headed in a rebound in the 26th minute and then Julio Castillo and Michael Mollay (Boise, ID / Walla Walla CC) combined to set him up again five minutes later. The Yellowjackets used a phenomenal comeback performance to move into second in the league after falling behind by two goals just seconds before intermission. Ricardo Palomino continued his hot season with all three tallies, netting the first on a 20-yard free kick in the 50th minute minute. The rally became a tougher challenge six minutes later when Daragh Kavanagh was sent off for a second caution, but Palomino evened things up on a through ball from Garrett Robinson in the 77th.
