ROUND SIX (May 7-12)
Player – Club (5 Star Selections)
Jose Angulo – Pittsburgh Riverhounds
Scored both goals in a 2-1 victory against Phoenix, finding the net in the 22nd and 51st minutes.
Dom Dwyer – Orlando City (3)
Scored both goals on the road early in each half for a 2-0 victory against the Sounders Reserves. It’s his third consecutive week on the list having scored seven goals in the last three games.
Kekutah Manneh – Whitecaps Reserves
Scored the opening goal in Colorado 21 minutes in and then set up Tom Heinemann in the 74th for the 2-1 game-winner.
Joseph Ngwenya – Richmond Kickers
Scored the opening three goals in a 4-1 win against Antigua in 44 minutes. And since you can’t leave a hat-trick off the list, despite the opponent playing their second in as many days, he makes the cut.
Zack Schilawski – Carolina RailHawks
Set up the opening goals 13 minutes in and scored the second in the 37th. His goal in the 50th provided some insurance in a 5-2 victory against San Antonio.
Close but not quite: Sainey Touray (Harrisburg)… Hector Jimenez (Galaxy Reserves)… Michael Cox (FC Edmonton)
