ROUND NINE (May 27-June 2)

Player – Club (5 Star Selections)

Blake Brettschneider – Rochester Rhinos
Tallied a goal and an assist to pull the Rhinos even twice in a 2-2 draw against the Blues. It marked the first time this season in 10 games that the team scored more than one goal.

Andriy Budnyy – VSI Tampa Bay
Scored a pair of goals as the team jumped to a 4-1 lead in a 4-4 draw versus the Timbers Reserves.

Dom Dwyer – Orlando City (5) 
Back among the Five Stars, Dwyer scored the game-winner and added an insurance tally in the Lion’s 3-1 Open Cup upset win over the Colorado Rapids Tuesday.

Diego Restrepo – Tampa Bay Rowdies
Stopped a penalty in a 1-0 Open Cup upset win over the visiting Seattle Sounders Tuesday and registered another upset across the continent Sunday in Edmonton for a scoreless draw.

Zach Schilawski – Carolina RailHawks (2) 
Set up both goals in the club’s 2-0 upset Open Cup win over the Galaxy Wednesday.
