The Mead Panthers rolled to a non-league win Monday against visiting Sandpoint of class 4A (second tier in ID) while Lewis & Clark came up a bit short against 5A Lake City across the border.
They were the final non-league games for Greater Spokane League schools before the league opens official play on Wednesday. The other four major leagues continue their seasons with games Tuesday.
