With a resounding 3-0 victory on the road against Lakeside for a regular season sweep of the Eagles, the unbeaten Deer Park ladies have firmly set their grasp on the top spot in the NEA as the league nears the postseason.
In an afternoon of one-sided contests in the GSL 2A the Clarkston Lady Bantams kept pace with unbeaten West Valley, looking forward to next week's showdown in Clarkston between the two as they hope to avenge their lone defeat of the campaign.

Lakeside keeper Kaylyn Randazzo had a highlight reel afternoon, but Deer Park just had too many chances. The Lady Stags finally broke through when a deflected ball fell right to the feet of Livvy Moore for a one-time finish. Early in the second half a controversial missed handball allowed Rylee Pfeifer to find Moore for her second. Though the hosts fought back with more offensive forays, they just could not get past the Deer Park back line and Moore locked things up when she corralled a blocked shot and drove a well-paced ball that powered through Randazzo's hands.
