HS Update: Peroff Hat-Trick Guides Ferris Past CV


After missing the postseason a year ago, the Ferris Saxons made a statement on the opening day of Greater Spokane League play Wednesday with a 3-2 victory over defending champion Central Valley.



University 2-0 Shadle Park... The Titans grabbed the win with goals late in each half via Gracen Crosby and a shutout performance from Josie Krum.

Central Valley 2-3 Ferris... The combination of freshman Cadence Peroff and senior Yacine Bitibale was very potent on the day as they connected three times for the win.

Mt Spokane 2-0 North Central... A corner late in the first half led to the Wildcats opener when Miya Gibbs crossed the ball back across the box for a tap-in by Ava Sargent. They added some insurance with five minutes left when Ellie Johnson put the ball into the far upper corner.
