In a showdown of unbeatens Tuesday evening, Eastmont came out on top in a dramatic affair at Wenatchee that ended a 12-game league and postseason win streak for the reigning state champion Panthers in the Columbia Basin Big Nine. Wenatchee took the lead twice in the contest but Eastmont equalized in each half. Omar Mendoza struck for the game-winner with just two minutes remaining to give the visiting Wildcats the victory over their city rival.

Davis saw a two goal lead at Moses Lake vanish in the second half at Moses Lake, which pulled even with four minutes remaining. Alexis Arellano, however, tallied three minutes later to give the Pirates the win. In the other CBBN contest, Eisenhower rallied in the second half to claim the lead in the 56th only to see Sunnyside answer in the 58th and nab the win in the 67th.

Unbeaten a year ago, Walla Walla continues to provide surprises this season in the Mid-Columbia Conference. On Tuesday they handed league-leading Pasco a 2-0 loss for its third win of the season. Hanford won 3-1 at Chiawana and Kennewick posted a 4-1 win over Kamiakin for its third victory, putting five teams even at three wins in the top half of the table. Richland earned a victory against Southridge via shootout after a 1-1 draw.

In the Great Northern League East Valley won a top of table clash with fellow unbeaten Cheney to grab control of the league. Devonte Gorman kept his scoring streak in league play going with the opening tally in the 2-0 win while Kohl Tomcho pushed his shutout streak to three consecutive games. In the other GNL contest, Pullman downed Clarkston 2-1.

Alberto Cisneros also kept his scoring streak running Tuesday with four goals in a 5-2 rout at Medical Lake for Colville. He had two in the opening four minutes. Riverside took care Deer Park with Jeff Thompson scoring three in a 4-1 win and Lucas Ousley scored both in the second half for Lakeside in a 2-1 comeback win against Newport.

The next day in the Greater Spokane League, two contests stood out for how things played out. Rogers snatched a shootout victory against North Central after a 1-1 draw, but the most dramatic match of the day was at Ferris. The Saxons found themselves down two in the 52nd minute and looked headed toward a loss against University before freshman Caden Martin went crazy in the final eight minutes. He set up Alessandro Contos in the 82nd to get things started and then scored himself in the 78th and 80th minutes to snatch the victory in the final minutes to remain 3-0.

Central Valley and Lewis & Clark posted four goals each in comfortable wins against fellow 4A opponents. The Bears were up two at the break at Gonzaga Prep and added a third two minutes into the second half. They made it four in the 56th before the Bullpups answered with a goal in the 59th and a second at the death. The Tigers were locked in a hard-fought match at Albi with Mead, leading 1-0 at the break before two early second half goals put the match out of reach. Colby Aitchison added onto his first half free kick tally with a goal in the 50th and Brennan Murphy scored the first of two in the 54th as his scoring tally hit eight goals in three games. Mead answered, but the goal merely spoiled the shutout in a 4-1 result.

Rounding out the day's action was a 1-0 decision that fell in Mt Spokane's favor against Shadle Park.
