Sounders Set for MLS Cup Rematch in Toronto

The Sounders took care of business Thursday evening, adding to a 2-0 first leg lead with a 3-0 victory against Houston Dynamo at CenturyLink Stadium. The 5-0 aggregate sends the defending MLS Cup champions back to Toronto for a rematch of last year's MLS Cup. The game is next Saturday, December 9.

Victor Rodriguez scored the opening goal of the second leg in the 22nd minute on a ball from former Dynamo striker Will Bruin on a fantastic build-up. Clint Dempsey tallied the second in the 57th via Joevin Jones. Bruin got a goal of his own in the 72nd, receiving a ball from Harry Shipp and sending a slight chip over the sliding keeper. Bruin also scored in the first leg in Houston.
