Lower Division Five Stars: Week Twenty-Seven

ROUND TWENTY-SEVEN (September 30-October 6)

Player – Club (5 Star Selections)

Ryan Finley - Columbus Crew Reserves (3)
Trailing by one at halftime, he scored the equalizer and go-ahead goal in a 3-1 victory at FC Dallas.

Daryl Fordyce - FC Edmonton 
Scored both goals, one in each half, in leading FC Edmonton to a 2-1 victory over visiting Carolina.

Mike Fucito - San Jose Earthquakes
Scored the first equalizer three minutes after falling behind and created the own goal, with a cross, five minutes after trailing the second time as the Earthquakes rallied to a 3-2 win at Chivas USA.

Paulo Mendes - New York Cosmos
Playing in just his third game, the midfielder scored for the second consecutive time, providing the deciding tally in a 1-0 victory at Minnesota in which he also nearly scored a second goal.

Jose Manuel Rivera - Chivas USA 
Set up the initial go-ahead goal with a free kick three minutes in and put the hosts in front again a minute into the second half only to see them fall 3-2 to San Jose.
