The Grizzlies got off to a good start in Las Vegas at the UNLV Nike Invitational with Erin Craig (Great Falls, MT) netting her fourth of the young season and Kristen Hoon picking up her third clean sheet of the campaign. The two sides were in a deadlock through the first hour of action before a ball forward in the 68th minute found Mackenzie Akins, who crossed the ball in front of goal to the head of Craig at the top of the six. The Montana defense allowed only two shots on goal. – MORE
Rocky Mountain College 3 :: 3 University of Mary – Men
The Battlin’ Bears fell behind after 15 minutes in North Dakota before getting an equalizer from Oliver Gore two minutes later. Nick Heffernan gave Rocky Mountain the lead in the 32nd for the halftime advantage, but it only lasted two minutes on the other side of the break before Joe Wood headed in a corner. Rory Pratt then gave the Marauders the lead with his second goal in the 56th minute. Gore would get his second equalizer in the 82nd with the two teams going scoreless through overtime for the draw. – MORE
#22 University of Washington 1 :: 0 Gonzaga University – Women
It was heartbreak for the Bulldogs as the only shot they allowed the entire match was all the 22nd-ranked (Soccer America) Huskies needed for the decision as Jaclyn Softli put away a cross from Hillary Zevenbergen. The Zags, meanwhile, had 14 shots with half of them on frame, including several from Heather Johnson (Kennewick, WA), who send a Tori Lee corner off the crossbar in the 22nd minute. – MORE
Idaho State University 1 :: 5 CSU-Bakersfield – Women
Even down five goals after the first 36 minutes of play in California, the Bengals did not give up and Rachel Strawn would factor in on yet another goal this season, finding Vanessa Cabilan for a consolation tally from eight yards in the 61st minute. – MORE
University of Idaho 0 :: 3 University of Miami – Women
A trip across the nation to Florida started off well with a scoreless first half, but two goals in the first six minutes of the second half spoiled everything. The Vandals were outshot by Miami, which capped the game with a third goal in the 87th minute, on the day 22-5. – MORE

Eastern Washington University 0 :: 1 Utah State – Women
With only six minutes remaining in regulation, an unforced turnover by the winless Eagles proved devastating as Mari Miyashiro fed the ball to Jade Tarver for a breakaway goal. Otherwise it was a great game from Nathalie Schwery in goal as she posted 10 saves on the day as the Eagles were outshot 17-9. – MORE
Boise State University 1 :: OT :: 2 Portland State University – Women
The hosts took the lead just before the hour mark through Cori Bianchini, who drove around the Bronco defense and put a shot inside the far post in the 59th minute. A second chance on a corner in the 88th minute was built up by Mackenzie Hickel and Shannon Schueren to Brianne Favatella, who headed in the Schueren cross to send the match to overtime. The Broncos thought a draw was in the offing when a long ball that bounced over the defense found Daniela Solis, who drove 20 yards and put it past Maddy McDevitt for the victory. – MORE

Southern Oregon 6 :: 0 Simpson - Women
The Raiders dominated from the beginning Thursday, getting a strike six minutes in and another just before the break. Julie Zamzow (Boise, ID) scored the final of four second half tallies in the 87th minute.
College of Idaho 1 :: 1 Whitman - Men
Yan Gioseffi gave the Coyotes the advantage four minutes into the second half Tuesday, driving down the left side of the area and placing a shot inside the near post. Whitman answered in the 62nd minute through Daniel Kim, who fired the ball in the left side of the goal off a Leland Matthaeus cross. Colin Benham-Marin (McCall, ID) posted eight saves for the Yotes.
MSU-Billings 2 :: 0 University of Hawaii-Hilo - Men
The trip to Hawaii finished nicely Thursday with a three-game sweep. It looked like it was going to be a difficult task to find the back of the net with Thomas Sheets hitting the post twice in the first 14 minutes. It got worse in the 22nd minute when Clifton Thomas (Boise, ID) was sent off. Down a man, the Yellowjackets still forced the issue as the game went into the late stages of the game and ultimately finished with a 19-3 advantage in shots, 10-3 in the second half. They forced an own goal in the 73rd minute off a deflection and four minutes later doubled the lead with Thomas Chameraud found Kyle Emerick (Billings, MT). - MORE
MSU-Billings 2 :: 0 Dixie State College - Women
The Yellowjackets continue to dominate despite leaving home for the first time, posting a third consecutive shutout to open the season. MSU-Billings dominated the first half with an 11-5 advantage in shots but did not find the back of the net until the fifth minute of the second half when Katlyn Lokay scored the first of two goals off a rebound from a Jaucelyn Richter (Billings, MT) shot. She got the benefit of another rebound, this time off the crossbar via Heidi Greenback, in the 62nd minute. Aiko Johnson finished with four saves for the clean sheet. - MORE
Northwest Nazarene 1 :: 3 Dominican University - Men
The Crusaders' trip to California got off to a rough start Thursday as the team was only able to muster a consolation tally with just over a minute left in the match via Stephen Marshall on a penalty kick. The home side took the lead 11 minutes in and scored two goals back-to-back early in the second half. - MORE
Central Washington University 1 :: 4 Point Loma Nazarene - Women
The Wildcats finished the three-game trip 0-2-1 as they were dominated once again Tuesday. PLN took the lead one minute in on a long-distance effort and doubled the lead in the 16th. They made it three in the 57th before Reilly Retz delivered a through ball to Kelsy Villegas in the 71st in hopes of a rally. But the goal was the only one that came as the hosts finished the game off with a second goal from Amanda Mitchell in the 82nd. - MORE
