Week 4 Collegiate INW Best XI – Men

For games through Sunday, September 9. It was a light week in the schedule, giving the few teams in action the benefit of a few extra players on the list.

F – Oliver Gore (Stafford, England) – Rocky Mountain College – Playing on the road, Gore provided two equalizers in the contest. He answered University of Mary’s opening strike in the 15 minute a less than two minutes later as RMC would go on to lead 2-1 at the intermission. Mary, however, rallied themselves to reclaim the advantage with two strikes in the first 11 minutes of the second half, forcing Gore to level terms again with eight minutes left for the 3-3 draw.

G – Colin Benham-Marin (McCall, ID) – College of Idaho
– Eight saves in 1-1 draw against Whitman.

G – Kyle Novak (Eugene, OR) – Whitworth – Did not allow a goal in game and a half, including complete game in 1-0 win against 7-Wheaton. He made four saves to shutout Wheaton and had one save playing the first half in the first game against Corban.

D – Balin Larson (Seattle, WA) – Whitworth – Led the Pirates to pair of wins, including 1-0 victory against 7-Wheaton.

D - Yan Gioseffi (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) – College of Idaho – Opening goal in a 1-1 draw against Whitman

M – Mike Chavez (Kennewick, WA) – Whitworth – Scored the winning goal in 1-0 win against 7-Wheaton

M – Thomas Chameraud (Poitiers, France) – MSU-Billings – Great pass for second goal in 2-0 win against Hawaii-Hilo.

M - Nick Heffernan (Brighton, England) – Rocky Mountain College – Goal and an assist in 3-3 draw against the University of Mary.

F – Karl Muelheims (Spokane, WA) – Whitworth
– Blocked long ball and drove into the box to set up the winning strike against 7-Wheaton.

F - Robby Ubben (Gig Harbor, WA) – Whitworth – Outstanding performance in 2-1 victory against Corban, including the game-winning goal immediately after Corban equalizer.

F - Thomas Sheets (Everett, WA) – MSU-Billings – Pair of shots off the woodwork in the first 14 minutes set tone as they went on to finish three-game sweep in Hawaii by downing Hawaii-Hilo, 2-0.
