In another 1-0 victory in Tennessee, it was once again Kasey Rubosky (Spokane, WA) providing the lone tally as the Gonzaga women edged Vanderbilt, giving the program its best start in school history at 5-1-0. Tori Lee delivered a free kick to Rubosky, who put a shot on goal that deflected off a defensive player's back, ricocheting the opposite way into the upper corner. Morgan Manchester (Spokane Valley, WA) led the effort defensively in the shutout for the Zags. - MORE

The Washington State University women finished up their visit at the USC Classic with a 4-0 loss to fourth-ranked Duke Sunday, allowing two goals in each half of the loss after defeating San Diego, 2-1, on Friday. - MORE
Eastern Washington 1 :: 4 Wyoming
The Eagles could not handle the Paul sisters of Wyoming Sunday, falling 4-1 after a quality scoreless draw at Air Force Friday. Sara Paul set up two goals in the first 30 minutes before Jennifer Paul tallied on a loose ball two minutes before the break. Kasey McNeill (Kennewick, WA) scored on a set piece seven minutes into the second half, receiving the ball from Alisha Stott and cutting to her right before firing inside the far post to move within two for a short-lived four minutes before Wyoming struck again. - MORE
Whitworth 1 :: 0 Hamline University - Men
The Whitworth men wrapped up their trip to the Twin Cities with a 1-0 victory over event host Hamline Saturday after playing to a scoreless draw Friday against Augsburg. It took 83 minutes, however, before Karl Muelheims (Spokane, WA) found the back of the net after Matt Bray (Spokane, WA) drove into the box before dishing it off. Kyle Novak made three saves for his second shutout of the trip. - MORE
Whitworth 1 :: 4 California Lutheran - Women
The trip to California for the Whitworth women, however, wrapped up with another loss, falling 4-1 to 16th-ranked California Lutheran Saturday after a 3-0 defeat to Chapman Friday. After falling behind in the 19th minute, the Pirates took the match to the intermission level courtesy of freshman Tiara Pajimola's first goal in the 44th minute. CLU, though, pulled away with three goals after the hour-mark. - MORE
