Week 5 Collegiate INW Best XI – Men

D – Will Wren (Evans, GA) – Whitworth University :: Three goals and two shutouts in leading the Pirates to a 2-0 victory against Linfield and a 1-0 win against Willamette. He scored his first career goals off of a free kick and a corner in the first win Saturday. In a close-fought game in which the Whitworth defense allowed few chances, he came forward late and proved he can also score in the run of play as well, finding the winner on a great play late in the match.

G – Joachim Soderstrom (Norrkoping, Sweden) – Rocky Mountain College :: A pair of shutouts, staring with a 2-0 victory against Great Falls followed by a 3-0 win against South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.

G – Alredo Ontiveros (La Puente, CA) – Northwest Nazarene :: Eight saves in a scoreless draw against Western Washington and six more stops in a 2-1 victory against 12th-ranked Simon Fraser.

M – Brandon Loeffler (Butte, MT) – Rocky Mountain College :: Scored the opening goal in a 2-0 victory over Great Falls.

M - Liam Harry (Boise, ID) – Westminster University :: Assist on the game-winner in a 2-1 victory against York College and an assist in a 4-1 victory against Arizona Christian University.

M - Jaime Torres (Pomona) – Northwest Nazarene :: Tallied a goal and an assist in a 2-1 victory against 12th-ranked Simon Fraser Saturday.

M - Brandon Wood (Coeur d’Alene, ID) – Evergreen State College :: Game-winner in a 2-1 victory against College of Idaho.

M – Mike Chavez (Kennewick, WA) – Whitworth University :: Set up the opening goal by Will Wren in the 2-0 victory against Linfield and was a leader in the attack against Willamette in a 1-0 victory.

F - Kyle Peterman (Boise, ID) – Seattle Pacific University :: Scored the third goal in a 3-1 victory against the University of Mary after the Falcons had also defeated Sioux Falls, 2-0.

F - Logan Tooley (Boise, ID) – North Idaho College :: Scored two goals in 3-0 victory against Community Colleges of Spokane.

F - John Ray (Boise, ID) – North Idaho College :: Scored both goals in a 2-0 victory against Edmonds.
