Emily Todd delivered the win in the rivalry match-up, serving a ball in from the left for an easy finish from Brooke Suter 13 minutes in. Not long after she fed Greta Marko for the second. It looked like Todd would get one of her own after being upended as she crossed into the box on a long, winding run. Her penalty was stopped by McKinlee Grote, who then also denied the putback attempt off the rebound as well. Shadle's Kyleigh Archer launched a beauty from long range early in the second half that stunned the Wolfpack a bit, but midway through the period Todd received the ball at the top of the box and quickly turned and fired back post for some insurance.

This time Simpson found Abigail Sicilia for the finish. A corner midway through the half gave the hosts some hope when Shelby Hubble found McKinley Ullman, but it was not enough.
