It was essentially a four-day weekend as non-league games rolled from Friday all the way through Monday with Freeman using its idle Tuesday to fit in a non-league matchup. It was even more notable by the fact that some of the lower classification sides showed well in their games.

The road trip west finished up the morning after a stalemate with another close-fought affair. A goalkeeping error allowed the host Rebels to get in front 13 minutes in but Chloe Bafus knocked in a rebound nine minutes before the break to even things up. The stalemate rolled throughout the second half, sending the match to a shootout where Bailey Cook came up with two stops for the Tigers.

Freeman 3-4 North Central
In a tough test for 1A contender Freeman, the Scotties went toe-to-toe with the 3A side and came away with a respectable result despite the ultimate decision. Makayla Werner stunned the hosts with a fantastic strike from distance 12 minutes in, but then Emily Todd went to work. She found Maya Turnbull in the 17th and then scored two more herself for a 3-1 Wolfpack lead at the intermission. The Scotties did not let down, however, and fought back in the second half, finding a little more energy after Werner converted a penalty in the 47th. Todd, though, was unstoppable, scoring again in the 59th, before Werner found Corinne Gregory to make it a one-goal game.

Central Valley 3-1 Mead
Stuck in a bit of a stalemate, a scrum in front of goal saw the visiting Bears break through when Zoe Crockett found Abby Jay. Three minutes later a deflection at midfield left the dangerous Crockett all alone to push the lead to two. Four minutes after the break Crockett served up a through ball out wide that put Jay behind the back line to put the game out of reach, though a scrum off a corner finished by Ayden Wells put the Panthers on the board.

West Valley 0-3 Gonzaga Prep
In a close-fought contest that in no way resembled the final scoreline, the Eagles fought the Bullpups tooth and nail on the night. But as usual the Gonzaga Prep ladies somehow found a way to get on the board and take things from there. A long effort from Caylee Kerr smashed down off the crossbar, allowing Jennah Wanner to head it in from just off the line in the 58th. Twelve minutes later Kerr was the benefactor in a similar situation when a Keagan Austin free kick that dropped near the top of the six was missed by the keeper and after a few defensive stop attempts was put away. A penalty closed out the proceedings.
