INW Collegiate Recap - NWC: Whitworth teams unbeaten on trip west

Though they only scored one goal each, the Whitworth Pirates were unbeaten on the weekend. At Puget Sound Saturday the men played to another scoreless draw while the women, who played to a 1-1 draw at home with Whitman Wednesday, took the day off with no referees to officiate the match. On Sunday both sides snared 1-0 victories at Pacific Lutheran.

Despite having the previous day off, the Pirates were not able to get the better of a PLU side that played a full overtime session until the 77th minute when a save rebound off a Chelsea Schooler shot was put away by Hannah Bokma (Spokane, WA) for the win.
