NWAC East Tonight 10.28.17: Playoff Sides Learn Opposition

The six teams from the NWAC East headed to the postseason learned who their playoff will be as the brackets filled out over the course of the day Saturday with the final slate of games.

For the first time since the NWAC went to a four-division format in 2005, four teams finished unbeaten as was projected in the previous NWAC East update.  Peninsula, Clark and Highline all wrapped up their campaigns without a loss. Highline and Clark are teams of note as Highline is the potential second round opponent awaiting CC Spokane and Clark could be the side North Idaho faces if they win at Whatcom. Spokane hosts Skagit Valley, who missed a chance at the second seed, playing to a scoreless draw in their finale Saturday. Unbeaten East champion Walla Walla will host Tacoma or Clackamas

On the men's side, East champion Spokane awaits either Tacoma or Clark. Columbia Basin hosts Everett with Highline awaiting the winner while Walla Walla to Peninsula, and potentially Portland if they win.
