Wednesday, September 25

Northwest U 0 :: 1 Corban
Joe Galbraith (Whitefish, MT) made eight saves as they were outshot 17-5 against the Warriors, but one mistake, slipping in wet conditions on a clearance, proved costly as his turnover in the third minute of the second half led to the winner.

Joao Cardoso
Friday, September 27

College of Idaho 3 :: 4 Warner Pacific
The Yotes came out on the short end of a back-and-forth contest. Christian Sanchez headed in a Joao Cardoso corner in the 10th minute for the initial lead only to see the Knights tie it up in the 24th and take the lead in the 56th. An own goal leveled terms again on the hour mark and then Yan Gioseffi put the Yotes back in front in the 82nd, converting from the spot after Cardoso was fouled in the box. The hosts tied it up though in the 87th and found a stunning winner with a header off a cross with 14 seconds remaining. MORE

After falling behind by two early in the second half Austin Crook (Bend, OR) scored off a free kick in the 61st minute to pull back within one, but it was not enough.

The Yotes found themselves down by six before the break, but came out and scored twice to begin the second half with Tyler Lawton (Boise, ID) scoring on a 51st minute free kick and Yan Gioseffi finding Joseph Bolin (Payette, ID) on a through ball in the 67th. MORE
