It was a tough week for area schools in Division I, but the Boise State Broncos remain in the thick of the Mountain West playoff race despite a loss at San Diego State and a scoreless draw at New Mexico. On the men's side the Gonzaga Bulldogs picked up a split on the road, winning at Santa Clara before falling in overtime to San Francisco.
In the Division II GNAC, the Central Washington women continue to excel and are solidly in the postseason picture with a pair of victories on the weekend, topping Saint Martins and MSU-Billings. The MSU-Billings men, meanwhile, split on the week with their loss coming at the hands of Northwest Nazarene in a wild 4-3 overtime affair.
