Looking to make sure they picked up a postseason berth, the University Titans took care of business against North Central and Ferris behind the efforts of midfield engine Kelsey Crosby, who tallied three goals and two assists in a pair of wins to earn the INWsn Player of the Week honor.
Scoreless at halftime versus North Central, Crosby broke the deadlock in the 48th minute as the Titans went up two before NC found a late tally in the 2-1 win that locked up a playoff spot. Then in their season finale she lit up the Saxons as they were hoping - with some help - to potentially earn a higher seed. The midfielder scored the opening two goals three minutes apart. Leading 2-1 at halftime, she restored the two goal advantage with an assist on their third in the 50th and 10 minutes later set up her sister for another assist to make it 5-1. Just for good measure she scored again in the 63rd, completing her hat-trick.
