DI 9/11 - Santa Clara 4-1 Seattle... Kelcie Hedge (Post Falls, ID) set up the opening goal in the 16th minute and Maria Sanchez (American Falls, ID) tallied the final Bronco goal in the 36th to push the lead to four.
DI 9/14 - Fresno Pacific 4-4 Central Washington... In a wild contest that deserved overtime, the Wildcats and the visitors had to settle for a draw Thursday as concerns over air quality put a halt to the match at the end of regulation. Through the haze, it had to be a fun one to watch, though. Mackenzie Nolte scored the opener for CWU four minutes in off a Sophia Keenan cross. The visitors then ran off three consecutive goals in the ninth, 25th and 26th minutes for a commanding two-goal advantage. Nolte, however, had plenty to say about that and tied things back up before the match even reached intermission, scoring on a ball from Whitney Lowe in the 32nd and completing a hat-trick in the 43rd. Keenan would put the Wildcats back in front in the 63rd with Fresno Pacific answering in the 80th to make it 4-4.
DI 9/14 - Washington State 3-2 OT Utah Valley... The match was in a scoreless stalemate for 72 minutes. Then the hosts kicked off a frenzied finish with a goal. Maddy Haro tied it up for the Cougars in the 76th when she put away the rebound of her own saved shot. UVU reclaimed the lead in the 84th, but Haro was the hero again in the 90th minute, heading in a Jordan Branch cross with 32 seconds remaining. Thirty seconds into the second overtime period the Cougs snared the win when Jamie Rita and Makamae Gomera-Stevens combined to set up Morgan Weaver for an excellent 14-yard finish.
DI 9/14 - Idaho State 0-3 Wyoming... The contest was deadlocked until the hosts tallied in the 38th. Wyoming went on to score two more in the 50th and 73rd.
DII-NAIA 9/14 - MSU-Billings 0-3 Carroll... Taryn Neameyer scored the opener for the Saints in the 22nd on a cross from Payton Netz (Great Falls, MT). Netz would double the advantage in the 62nd off a Emily Spindler (Helena, MT) cross and Katie Anderson (Spokane, WA) capped the contest with a 40-yard free kick in the 73rd. Devan Murfitt (Bozeman, MT) registered six saves as she and the Saints posted a third consecutive shutout, the previous two also coming against NCAA (DIII) opponents.
