HS Daily - 9.11.17: One-sided Affairs on MCC Opening Day

With two match days earlier in the week wiped away by the smoke, Saturday became the new Opening Day for the Mid-Columbia Conference. And it opened with a boom as the winning three teams outscored the opposition 21-2. In addition, Walla Walla tallied 10 in a non-league affair.

In the continuation of non-league play elsewhere, the GSL schools were nearly unbeaten against primarily lower classification opposition. The lone school to register an upset was East Valley with the Knights blanking North Central in a one-sided scoreline.
