Round-up of the action for September 18

Great Northern League

Clarkston 3-4 SO West Valley
In a thrilling contest, the hosts picked up a victory in their league opener, but it took some work. Chelsea Koker scored the opener in the 20th and set up Frankie Schade seven minutes into the second half to double the lead. The Bantoms, though, fought back with back-to-back goals from Maddie Hoffman and Taylen Wohl in the 53rd and 55th. Koker found Schade again in the 61st to reclaim the lead, but Hoffman netted a second with four minutes remaining. From there the two would go the distance with the Eagles prevailing in the shootout.
