The highlight match of the day, though, was a Hanford at Richland, a contest that went down to the wire before Richland prevailed to stay within striking range of Kamiakin, which rolled to another big win to remain perfect on the season.

Mid-Columbia Conference
Southridge 0-3 Kamiakin
Maddie Morgan and Britney Donais scored in the 15th and 36th for the Braves, who remain perfect on the season. Mikayla Hunter tallied at the hour mark and Grace Wilbur finished with the shutout. Kaeri Ward also picked up a pair of assists.
Kennewick 2-8 Chiawana
Another Summer Yates highlight reel. She scored in the opening minute and finished with her four-goal night before the 24th. Kylee Alvarez was the lone tally sandwich between a pair of Yates braces in the 10th minute and Hannah Haertling scored in the final minute of the half for a six-goal lead. Haertling added a second after the intermission along with a goal from Emma Lundberg and tallies from Kennewick's Jordan Evans and Camryn Thoreson.
Hanford 0-1 Richland
In a showdown of two of the top three sides, it proved to be a defensive stalemate that looked like it was going to go the distance before Gabrielle Fillmore struck for the Bombers in the final minute of regulation to move Richland to 6-1. Emily McDonald recorded the shutout.
Pasco 1-4 Walla Walla
The winless Bulldogs got on the board first, tallying two minutes before the break. Trailing at halftime, though, seemed to wake the hosts up though as they came out in the second half and scored four unanswered through the duo of Lorena Ramirez and Makena Rietz. Ramirez scored in the 46th to even it up and Rietz took advantage of a turnover for the lead in the 61st. Ten minutes later it was Ramirez again with Rietz following it up in the 73rd to move to 3-3.
Great Northern League
9/25 - West Valley 4-5 Cheney
In a wild make-up game the Eagles grabbed the initial lead on a pair of Frankie Schade goals in the first and 15th minutes, the second coming on a ball from Abby McConnell. Five minutes before intermission Makenna Benson started a rally for the Blackhawks on a ball from Sydney Eaton. They would tie things up two minutes later on an own goal and take the lead three minutes after the break when Benson fed Emma Scott. Eaton set up another in the 58th, finding Kaitlin Teeters to push the lead to two. McConnell would pull one back in the 59th for West Valley but Eaton connected with Teeters again in the 66th for what held as the winner as Morgan Rojas scored the final goal three minutes later for the visitors.
West Valley 1-4 Clarkston
Madeline Liberg put the Eagles in front on the road 11 minutes in, but Taylen Wohl answered four minutes later en route to a fantastic night. She went on to score again in the 44th on a ball from Makinzie Packwood and returned the favor five minutes later. She also set up Anna Sharp in the 53rd.
Cheney 3-0 Pullman
The Blackhawks picked up their second win with goals from three different players. Emma Scott set up Makenna Benson in the 34th and Lauren Hinrichs two minutes later. Lexi VanHorne made it three moments before intermission. Melissa Aris recorded the shutout.
Northeast A League
Riverside 1-2 Freeman
The winless Rams grabbed the initial lead in the 24th via Jamie Conner, but the Scotties answered seven minutes later to pull even when Brynn Van Orden set up Lindsey Balkenbush. Riverside kept it deadlocked in the second half before Claire Love scored on a ball from Riley Hawley with less than two minutes remaining.
Lakeside 3-1 Medical Lake
Early goals from Alexis Torok and Payton Stueckle in the 11th and 17th minutes gave the Eagles command of the contest. Makayla Geiger scored in the 67th to cut the deficit, but Kayleigh Talbott added some insurance with five minutes left.
Newport 1-10 Deer Park
Jessie Thomas scored three in the first half of play as the Stags rolled to the win. Emmy Moore would also have a big night, finishing with four goals and an assist. Carson Gracie-Allen scored two and Avery Ackerman also got on the board. Stephanie Huang scored the lone Newport goal in the 72nd.
Non-League
Mead 5-4 East Valley
Though they trailed by three in a meaningless contest, the Knights did not give up. Chloe Gellhaus scored two goals and set up the other in a second half rally from 4-1 down to even things up. The Panthers, though, snatched the win in the final minute on a goal from Katie Kuka, who scored the opening goal of the game eight minutes in via Megan Cardenas, who went on to score the third after an Olivia DeShazo tally for a three-goal lead after 22 minutes. Autumn Stewart put the hosts on the board in the 25th with Tia Frahm restoring the margin in the 34th on an assist from her sister Sarah.
