Utah State 4-5 (OT) Idaho State :: A week after an embarrassing 10-0 loss to BYU the winless Bengals were fighting to right the ship. Things started off well with Brooke Kortekaas setting up Meaghan Bare (Coeur d'Alene, ID) in the fourth minute and beating a defender in the 11th to score one of her own for a two goal lead that stood through halftime. Then it looked like it was all unravelling. Utah State rattled off three consecutive goals in the 53rd, 71st and 74th. The Bengals didn't roll over, though, and went back in front with Delaney Johnston (Boise, ID) scoring in the 79th and Corinne Sanderson (Corvalis, MT) in the 84th. The Aggies would force overtime in the thrilling contest to extend the drama even further. A free kick in the 106th minute provided the first moment of true celebration on the season for ISU with Rachel Brownell nodding in the delivery from Tristen Spooner. The result ended their 11-game winless run (0-10-1) going back to last season.
