Ties were the theme of the night. In Spokane and Coeur d'Alene the leading teams of the division all played to scoreless stalemates in women's action. In men's action, a one-goal decision for Spokane and Wenatchee Valley win created a three-way tie on points in the men's table.
WOMEN
Friday - Treasure Valley 0-8 Yakima Valley :: The Yaks took their turn with TVCC and came away with an eight goal effort. Natalie Wright would lead the way with a hat-trick. Sessi Allot got things going with the opening goal, a chip over the keeper from about 30 yards in the 13th minute, and an assist on Wright's first four minutes later. She went on to set up two more goals and score another. Corynn Vigil (Spokane, WA) scored twice and Courtney Handlen (Pocatello, ID) had the other. Ally Glebe only needed one save for the shutout.
Friday - Blue Mountain 2-4 Wenatchee Valley :: Erin Aarnold (Wenatchee, WA) scored in the 27th minute for the Knights and found Lara Creighton with just over a minute left in the first half. After the break Creighton scored again just two minutes in and finished a hat-trick in the 68th. The Timberwolves clawed back into it a bit with Naomi Rini scoring and setting up another in the final 14 minutes.
Saturday - Treasure Valley 0-2 Wenatchee Valley :: Abigail Escalante (Walla Walla, WA) scored 23 minutes into the contest to give the Knights the lead, but despite the close contest the Chukars were unable to find an equalizer before Vanessa Valdez (Wenatchee, WA) added some insurance in the 70th. Trisha Priest (Omak, WA) made four saves for the shutout.
Saturday - Columbia Basin 0-0 North Idaho :: Both sides battled to the draw with nine shots. Kaile Kauanui made six saves for the Hawks to earn the draw away from home while Kaysha Bailey (Lewiston, ID) made five for the Cardinals.
Saturday - Walla Walla 0-0 Spokane :: A bit of a sloppy first half that saw a lot of play in the midfield gave way to a much more intense second half as the Warriors came out looking for a quick strike. They nearly succeeded in the opening seconds, but Micky Ramirez's one save of the match was parried off the crossbar and away. Danielle Dowd (Rathdrum, ID) would make four stops at the other end.

Friday - Blue Mountain 1-5 Wenatchee Valley :: Johan Espinoza put the Knights on the board quickly with a goal just 61 seconds into the contest, but the Timberwolves answered nearly as quick with Giovanni Madrigal (Hermiston, OR) scoring in the fourth minute. Espinoza, though, was not done. He put them back in front in the 12th minute and set up Rafa Barajas in the 16th. He finished the hat-trick in the 34th and Mario Chirinos capped the scoring a minute into the second half.
Saturday - Columbia Basin 2-1 North Idaho :: The Hawks scored twice in the opening 20 minutes with Jason Cortes (Kennewick, WA) tallying in the 13th and Oscar Cortez (Pasco, WA) providing a needed insurance goal seven minutes later. The Cardinals kept things in reach - forcing Christopher Kirby (Yakima, WA) to make 10 saves on the night - and gave themselves a chance midway through the second half when Creed McKinnon scored to make it a one goal affair, but that was all they could muster.
Saturday - Treasure Valley 0-2 Wenatchee Valley :: Kevin Melendez struck 11 minutes into the match to give the Knights the early lead. Greysen Gilman (Yakima, WA) scored even quicker to start the second half, pushing the advantage to two in the 48th.
Saturday - Walla Walla 0-1 Spokane :: An always heated affair, the Warriors and Bigfoot were locked in a tense back-and-forth affair that saw two scuffles breakout during play. The hosts grabbed the lead midway through the first half when the Sasquatch had a decent little buildup in the right corner that led to a cross from Nelson Centeno that Diego Esquivel (Post Falls, ID) rose to nod down at the top of the six. Caleb Garbuio only saw a few chances in the game, but made a huge save in the second half on a low, swerving shot to earn the shutout. The results put Spokane even with the Warriors and Wenatchee Valley in points.
